Marshvale advises businesses wishing to attract investment as part of their strategy. We will assist clients to become Investment Ready and then, actively seek to source investment from its large network of Business Angels, Venture Capitalists and other funding providers. Typical funding ranges from £100,000 to several £millions.
Our clients can access an impressive range of sophisticated Corporate Funding Solutions. These services include advice for strategic growth, mergers and acquisitions and Rescue & Turnaround solutions. Short term experienced management resources are also available, where there is a need for a day-to-day interim manager.
Our Funding and Investment Process
Marshvale has developed a process that creates significant benefit for Clients seeking funding and real added value for Investors seeking investment opportunities or Lenders needing a comprehensive picture of the business.
Following an assessment, we report to the Client on their current position, the work required and information to be made available to achieve funding or Investment-Ready status. From our Assessment Report, the Client will be able to reconsider its investment expectation, assess its costs, its workload and the timeframe to achieve the Investment-Ready status before incurring any fees.
This process is geared towards attaining a high success rate for Clients and a much better filtered opportunity for the Investor or Lender.
For the Client, engagement fees are only incurred when the Client is Investment-Ready and is positioned to invest quality time in a managed process.
For the Investor, direct contact with Marshvale will be closely monitored and controlled. Initial contact for an investment opportunity will only be by a Marshvale Director.
Marshvale Support and Intervention.
It is crucial that a client is investment ready before any time is wasted looking for financial support. Usually, this is a once-only opportunity, so the conditions expected by an Investor must be right. This process can be completed quickly as, in the case of our rescue clients, speed is vital. In some cases meetings with investors can be arranged within days and decisions made soon after.
If required, Marshvale can provide intervention, including interim management or non-executive directorships to manage the project, leading to the achievement of investment-ready status.
Our Introducer Network
Marshvale obtains referrals from its extensive Introducer partners. They include Accountancy Practices, Solicitors, Banks, Financial Consultants, Factor and Asset Financiers. In most cases our Introducers are unable to provide the funding required or cannot progress with their products until equity funding is obtained to increase the Balance Sheet Value.
We work in conjunction with our Introducers not in competition with them. In many cases, we will introduce referrals back to our partners when our clients need their services.
