Turnaround Specialists
If you fully understand the problems and challenges that face the owner-managed business sector, you will appreciate the value our clients place on sound, solid support coupled with a hands-on approach from our Associates.
You will first conduct a thorough review of the business, looking particularly at the immediate threats facing the company, shareholders and management. You will then deal with these, urgently, in whatever way is appropriate in the circumstances. This will usually include:
Negotiating with creditors we will talk to trade creditors, the bank, the VAT office or whoever to ensure that we have enough breathing space to implement any rescue plans.
Cash Flow management - You will examine ways in which assets can be turned quickly into cash without damaging the fabric of the business. You will implement credit control and debt recovery procedures.
Restructuring the funding often existing funding arrangements are inappropriate to the changing fortunes of the business, and we will use our extensive range of contacts among lenders (which can include existing lenders) to effect any immediate re-financing that is necessary.
To further protect the management and shareholders, it may be necessary for us to recommend an Insolvency Practitioner, and we will act for the company in making this difficult step as painless as practicable. You will need to be knowledgeable about all the various forms of procedures e.g. Administrations, CVAs, CVLs etc.
You must be conversant with the methods and operations of Banks, asset funders and Factors.
Equity Advisors
With experience gained as a professional Banking, Accountancy or as an Industrial or Commercial Leader, you will be comfortable in advising clients in Corporate Finance matters as well as holding your own with VCs and Business Angels. You will have knowledge of the SME market and will be able to analyse business opportunities for investment readiness via a common sense approach to Business Modeling.
Your networking skills will be put to the test as a major task is to illicit leads from our Introducers.
Business Developers
For those who enjoy generating leads for the more technical members of our team, there are generous rewards available. See above for knowledge required.
Support Team
We have occasional need for travelling Bookeepers, Systems Analysts and Quality Consultants, who all work on-site with our Associates.
Rewards
All of us are self-employed and share fees generated. Client satisfaction is mandatory! Part-timers are welcome but you will be encouraged to join full-time once your portfolio fills up. Training is a large part of our strategy, so dont be daunted as long as you know our marketplace and are prepared to commit to Marshvale.
